Poem: The Traveller.

Put one foot

In front of the other.

Travel back in time,

Before he ever

Crossed paths with you

And your heart,

So you could kill the love

Before it could start.

While you’re there,

Ask him some questions.

Like, why did he not

Ever think to mention,

That his brand of love

Was toxic for you?

Or did he think that

The venom which he spewed

Was some new way

Or showing his love?

And while you ask him,

Please give him a shove,

Into oncoming traffic,

So he would hurt and feel,

That his love caused pain;

It was a thing that could kill.
