‘The woman who stole my life’ by Marian Keyes.
It sent me on a very stressful journey that I didn’t care for. One minute, I wanted to throw the book against the wall in frustration, the next minute I was reading it veryyyyy veryyyy slowly so I wouldn’t finish it too quickly.
This book is funny and sad, interesting and draining.
The Author tells Stella’s story at different points in her life-dealing with a crumbling marriage, an unexplained illness, falling in love again, and uprooting herself from Ireland to the USA in a bid to become a successful Writer.
There’s a lot going on.
Solid fiction 👌🏾
Would I read it again? Yes I would. But maybe in a year’s time; I need to recover.
